The first artist I chose was from the Pinterest page Kay Lipps.

Her concentration was based off of a song.

I'm not sure how the images connect to the song because I have never heard the song but it is a verying interesting concentration. She drew people but abstracted them by cutting out the head or part of the head.

I liked the artist because I am thinking about using people in my concentration.

She used value really well and I liked how she incorporated torn pages into her art. She also used texture well in that way.

The next artist I used also has a blogger called: Don't MIS It

The concentration was focused on naturally occurring patterns.

The artist uses images of common and mostly overlooked things with pattern and abstracts the image so that it is on the pattern rather than what the image is an image of.

The artist uses color, texture, and pattern extremely well.

The final artist I found was Katie Leimbach from the AP2D page last year.

Her concentration was an abstraction of emotions I believe. To me it just seems like abstract colors and shapes with occasional doodled flowers.

She uses started with more simple images and towards the end her concentration became extremely detailed and cool.

She used color, texture, pattern, repitition, and shape all very well. I liked her concentration a lot because it was a very effective way to do abstract.
