Stares media is photography but his pictures look to me like stylized paintings, several of them appear blurred like the image was moving. His pictures are all of nature, more specifically trees and water mostly.
All the pictures go together well and are very clearly by the same artist. The pictures of the water are simple and smooth, the lines are clean. His pictures of trees are blurred, it looks as if the trees were shaking or moving. In every picture there is an emphasis on line, the artist is clearly drawn to pictures with line. Also the majority of the pictures have sharp contrast and value in them.

Mary Joseph-http://www.laurarusso.com/artists/josephson_m.html
Mary Joseph does oil paintings, embroidery, and mosaic art. The paintings are of one or more people but in each piece can be found plant and animal life as well. Each face is large and seemingly simple but they hold the eye even with the vibrant colors throughout the rest of the image.
Each picture has bright colors either in the plant or animals and the people have more subdued colors comparatively. The paintings are also very busy with little to no empty space however, the artist does a good job of drawing the eye through the painting with colors. It is the colors and the color/style of the faces in her pictures that makes the images a unified work.

Jim Riswold-http://www.augengallery.com/Artists/riswold.html
Riswold's art is pictures of toys and scenarios along the idea of "the war to end all wars- that didnt end all wars". His pictures are layed out with toys into little scenarios that depict war time or soldiers.I was interested by his art because it was different than all the other artists i looked at today.
His are is unified by his theme of war. The use of childrens toys to build little models of war scenes offers a unique view but one that unquestionably goes together. The visual coherence is created by the seemingly simple images with a funny twist. Each picture has an explanation that shows the thought process behind the image and what it represents.
